The Malayalee community in Panvel was saddened by the untimely demise of Mr. David Varghese (52), a native of Thiruvananthapuram and resident of Shukapur, New Panvel. He passed away on June 18 following a heart attack.
A member of the Kerala Cultural Society (KCS), Panvel, David Varghese was well known among the local Malayalee community. Following the news of his demise, office-bearers of KCS Panvel extended support to the bereaved family and assisted with the necessary formalities.
The post-mortem was conducted at Panvel Government Hospital, and the mortal remains are currently kept in the hospital mortuary.
According to family sources, the funeral service and burial will be held at the Kalamboli Christian Cemetery on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at 5.00 p.m.
