In a significant step towards enhancing accessible healthcare, the Rotary Club of Thane Skyline (RCT Skyline), under the leadership of its President Rtn. Daly John, has successfully established a fully equipped ophthalmic (eye testing) centre at Lokmanya Tilak TMC Hospital, Thane.

The project was made possible through a Rotary Global Grant and received valuable support from the Charms Group and the Borgaonkar Group. This initiative is expected to benefit a large number of patients by providing essential eye care services completely free of cost.

The centre was formally inaugurated on Saturday, April 18th, in a grand function attended by dignitaries. The inauguration was carried out by the Honourable Mayor of Thane, Shrimati Sharmila Pimpolkar, in the presence of Rotary District Governor Rtn. Harsh Makol and other prominent guests.

This initiative reflects Rotary’s continued commitment to community welfare and will play a vital role in improving eye health and preventing vision-related issues among the underprivileged.
