Malayalam Mission Kalyan–Badalapur Region General Meeting Held

The general meeting of the Malayalam Mission Mumbai Chapter Kalyan–Badalapur Region was held on April 5th at 3 pm at the Ambernath Kerala Samajam office, with a good turnout of teachers, study centre committee members, and representatives from various units across the region.

The meeting was presided over by Regional President Preman Nair, while Regional Secretary T. V. Ratheesh delivered the welcome address. Representatives from study centres including Badalapur Koolgaon Samajam, Ambernath Kerala Samajam, Ambernath Sree Narayana Mandira Samiti, Ulhasnagar Ullas Arts and Welfare Association, Ulhasnagar Sree Narayana Mandira Samiti, Kalyan East Central Kerala Samajam and other centres actively participated in the meeting.

Regional Coordinator Sindhu Vijayan presented a detailed report on the activities carried out over the past two years. Mumbai Chapter President R. D. Harikumar attended the meeting as the chapter observer. Representatives from various study centres also presented reports outlining their respective activities and progress.

Addressing the gathering, R. D. Harikumar provided guidance on various issues and queries raised by the members and appreciated the collective efforts of the region in promoting Malayalam language and culture.

The meeting also witnessed the election of new office bearers for the 2026–2028 term. Harish Chanassery was elected as President and T. V. Ratheesh as Secretary.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Jinesh.
