Panaji: The 20th edition of Sarngadeva Samaroha, a prestigious seminar and dance festival celebrating Indian classical arts, will be held on March 25th and 26th, 2026, at the Institute Menezes Braganza, Panaji, Goa.
The event is jointly organised by Mahagami Arts Research Foundation, the Nana Shirgaonkar Chair for Indian Music (Goa University), Institute Menezes Braganza, and the Directorate of Art and Culture, Government of Goa.
The two-day programme will feature seminars, lecture-demonstrations, masterclasses, and captivating dance performances by eminent artists. Highlights include sessions on dance techniques and rasa theory, along with performances in Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Odissi, Dhrupad, and Mohiniyattam.
Notably, the festival will feature a Mohiniyattam performance by Sujatha Nair and Bharata Nritya presentation by Aishwariya Harish, among other distinguished artistes.
Renowned experts including Dr. Jayashree Rajagopalan and Guru Parwati Dutta will lead various sessions, offering a rich cultural experience for art enthusiasts.
The festival aims to promote research, learning, and appreciation of India’s classical music and dance heritage.
