A Kathakali study class will be inaugurated tomorrow at Vasai.The initiative is being organised by Vasai Amateur Artists Association with the aim of promoting Kerala’s traditional classical art form among the younger generation.
The inaugural function will be held at BKS School tomorrow morning at 11.30 am. Organisers said the study class is intended to provide systematic training in Kathakali, helping students understand its rich heritage, expressions, mudras and performance techniques.
Art lovers and members of the Malayali community in and around Vasai are expected to attend the function and extend their support to the new initiative.
