The Maharashtra Malayali Association, Khandeshwar, Navi Mumbai organised a vibrant family get-together at Khanta Colony, marked by colourful cultural programmes and community celebrations. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from members and their families, making it a memorable evening of togetherness.

The programme was inaugurated by MLA Prashant Thakur, while the association’s president V. K. Shankar presided over the function. Secretary V. P. Unnikrishnan delivered the welcome address and outlined the activities of the association.

As part of the celebrations, trophies were presented to the winners of the Kalotsavam organised by the association. Students who achieved excellent academic results were honoured, and scholarships were distributed to deserving children from economically weaker sections. Senior member and poet K. G. Vasanthakumar was also felicitated in recognition of his contributions.

The event concluded with a variety of cultural performances by members, reflecting the rich artistic heritage of Kerala and strengthening the bonds within the Malayali community in Mumbai.
