Thane: Renowned Malayalam film actress Viji Venkatesh, widely remembered for her notable role as Ummachi in malayalam movie Pachuvum Albutha Vilakkum, inaugurated the election rally campaign of independent candidate Sashikumar Nair, who is contesting from Ward 4D in the upcoming Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) elections.
Mrs. Viji Venkatesh, who has also served as the former Regional Head of Max Foundation and is actively involved in fundraising initiatives for blood cancer patients, formally launched the rally and addressed the gathering. In her interaction, she highlighted the importance of socially committed leadership and encouraged citizens to actively participate in strengthening grassroots democracy.
