The honour was presented at a special function organized by the All India Artists Association, Shimla, and the Anjali Bharatanatyam Research Trust. The ceremony was held at the Mysore Association Hall, Matunga, under the leadership of acclaimed dancer and choreographer Latha Surendra.

The award, comprising a gold medal, a plaque, and a certificate, was handed over by Dr. Rekha Gaur to Nambeesan.

Art enthusiasts, cultural leaders, and representatives from various arts organizations attended the event, celebrating Nambeesan’s outstanding musical journey and his enduring contribution to India’s performing arts tradition.
