Thane Vrindavan Kairali Cultural Association will celebrate its annual anniversary on Sunday, February 8, with a colourful evening of cultural programmes and community honours.
The celebrations will begin at 5.30 pm at the Thane Srirang School Hall. The function will be inaugurated by lighting the traditional Bhadradeepam by Association President M. R. Sudhakaran, Secretary P. K. Ramesan, Treasurer B. Prasad, Programme Convener K. Balakrishnan, along with other managing committee members.
The inaugural session will be followed by a variety of cultural programmes presented by the association members under the leadership of K. M. Suresh and Shalini Prasad. The evening will feature classical and semi-classical dance performances by students of Guru Sai Geetha Mohan’s dance class, poetry recitations by Malayalam class students, Hindustani music concerts, folk songs, and comedy skits.
As part of the celebrations, students who have secured high results in the 10th, 12th, Degree and Post Graduate professional courses in the last academic year, as well as those who have achieved outstanding performance in extra-curricular activities at district and state levels, will be honoured with merit awards and certificates.
The programme will be compered by Edassery Ramachandran and Prakash Nair. The celebrations will conclude with the prize distribution ceremony at 9.30 pm.For further details, interested persons may contact:
