Bengaluru: Aparna Ramakrishnan, a professional architect, is all set to make her debut as a Bharatanatyam dancer on 13th December at the Krishnadevaraya Kalamandira, Malleswaram, Bengaluru. Aparna is excited to step onto the stage as her long-cherished dream of presenting her passion for classical dance finally comes true.
Aparna is a disciple of the accomplished Mohiniyattam and Bharatanatyam exponent Dr. Rekha Raju, under whose guidance she has trained rigorously. Combining her background in architecture with her love for the classical arts, Aparna aims to pursue research on the interrelationship between temple architecture, sculpture, and classical dance—an area where her dual expertise uniquely positions her.
With the warm encouragement of her well-wishers and friends, Aparna now embarks on this artistic and spiritual journey, marking an important milestone in her creative life.
