The much-awaited 18th Raagalaya Music Competition will be held on Sunday, April 5th, 2026, from 9:00 AM onwards at Aishwarya Hall, Marol Education Academy, Bhawani Nagar, Marol, Mumbai – 400059.
Organized by Team Raagalaya, the competition is open to participants of all age groups, both male and female. Contestants may present any film song or light music piece of their choice in any language, with preference given to Malayalam songs; however, language will not be a criterion for evaluation. Judging will be based purely on the quality of singing.
Participants are required to perform without lyrics (by heart), and instrumental support including keyboard and tabla will be provided at the venue.
The competition will be conducted across six age categories:
(5–10) -Group A
(11–15) -Group B
(16–25) -Group C
(26–40) -Group D
(41–60) -Group E
(61 & above) Group F
First and second prizes will be awarded in each category, along with participation certificates for all contestants. Performance videos will also be recorded and shared with participants.
The event will be judged by a panel of 2–3 eminent judges, and their decision will be final.
