Renowned Bharatanatyam exponent Dr. Lata Surendra was conferred with the prestigious National Excellence Award in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the field of performing arts. The award acknowledges her remarkable journey spanning over six and a half decades as a performer, teacher, choreographer, researcher, writer, and curator.
The honour was presented at a grand event held at the Hyatt Centric, Janakpuri, New Delhi. The event was organised by Kiteskraft Productions LLP, under its initiative to recognise and celebrate excellence across diverse fields.
The programme brought together eminent personalities from across the country and focused on honouring icons in education, arts, healthcare, business, and social impact. Awardees were selected through a combination of nominations and an expert panel evaluation process, recognising individuals for their exemplary service and significant contributions to society.
