In a strategic move ahead of the upcoming Kerala Assembly elections, Maharashtra BJP President Ravindra Chavan convened a meeting at his residence in Dombivli to coordinate the participation of non-resident Malayalis (NRMs) in the electoral process.

The meeting brought together Malayali party workers from various Kerala constituencies currently residing in Mumbai. Discussions focused on preparing an action plan for workers to travel to their respective hometowns in Kerala and actively campaign for BJP candidates.

Addressing the gathering, Chavan urged Malayalis in Maharashtra to reach out to their relatives and friends in Kerala through phone calls and social media, encouraging them to support Bharatiya Janata Party candidates in the elections.

As part of the broader campaign strategy, senior BJP leaders, including MLAs and MPs from Maharashtra, have been assigned responsibilities to coordinate election-related activities across different regions of Kerala. BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde has been entrusted with overseeing the party’s Kerala election efforts.

The meeting was attended by several prominent leaders and Malayali activists from Dombivli, including BJP State Vice President Atul Kalsekar, BJP Maharashtra Malayali Wing Coordinator Uttam Kumar, and Dombivli South Indian Cell President Mohan Nair, among others.
