Devotees of Muthappan in Lodha Palava, Dombivili are organizing Muthappan Vellattam for the first time at Lodha Palava on March 28th.
The event is being organized by the My Muthappan Seva Samiti, a group of Muthappan devotees residing in City Lodha Palava and Riverwood Park. The programme will be held near Kasa Rio Gate No. 1 at Lodha Palava.
The rituals will begin early in the morning with Ganapathi Homam at 5 am. This will be followed by Malayirakkal Karmam at 11 am, Thayambaka at 2 pm, and the main ritual Muthappan Vellattam at 2.30 pm.
Devotees will be able to have Darshan from 4 pm onwards, and Prasadam Oottu (community feast) will be served from 7 pm.
The organizers have invited all devotees and members of the Malayali community in and around Lodha Palava to participate in the sacred ritual and seek the blessings of Lord Muthappan.
