Kharghar Kerala Samajam Honours Women Entrepreneurs

Navi Mumbai: Kharghar Kerala Samajam honoured emerging women entrepreneurs from Kharghar as part of its celebrations marking International Women’s Day and Mother Language Day. The programme was organised with the aim of recognising and encouraging women who are making significant contributions in the field of entrepreneurship.

Women entrepreneurs Athira Sumit and Seetha Lakshmi Menon attended the function as special guests and shared their experiences and insights with the audience.

As part of the celebration, a panel discussion with women entrepreneurs was held, moderated by Shobha Pradeep Kumar, where participants discussed the challenges and opportunities faced by women in business and the importance of supporting women-led enterprises.

Kharghar Kerala Samajam President Pradeep Kumar presided over the function. Manoj K. N., Secretary of the Samajam, welcomed the gathering. Samajam Vice President Jayadeesh V. delivered a speech highlighting the importance of mother tongue and cultural values, while Srilatha Warrier delivered the Women’s Day message.

The programme was coordinated by Ajitha Vatsalan, while Suma Sunil Warrier, Women’s Section Convener, proposed the vote of thanks.

Several cultural and artistic programmes were also presented as part of the celebration. The event concluded with a dinner attended by members and guests.
