The Kalyan Samskarika Vedi will celebrate the second anniversary of its literary and cultural initiative on March 15 at 4.30 pm at the East Kalyan Kerala Samajam Hall.
As part of the celebration, noted music enthusiast Ajith Shankaran will present a special programme titled “Paattu Mariyathum – Paattu Mattiyathum”, highlighting the emotional evolution of Malayalam film songs. The presentation will be accompanied by musical renditions by young singers from Mumbai.
The programme will also feature a discussion based on Ajith Shankaran’s essay on the subject. Several singers from Mumbai are expected to participate and perform during the event.
