Film lovers in Mumbai will get a special opportunity to watch the preview show of the new Malayalam film “Velotsavam”, produced by Faceguru Film Academy. The special screening is being organised exclusively for Mumbaikars, offering them the privilege to experience the film ahead of its wider release.
Directed by the veteran filmmaker P. Chandrakumar, who has been delivering memorable films for the past 57 years, Velotsavam promises a refreshing cinematic experience. The film is presented with a powerful storyline and engaging direction, highlighting the immense talents of several accomplished actors. Designed as a family entertainer, the film blends emotional storytelling with vibrant visuals and memorable performances.
The film also features beautiful songs composed by music maestro Parajyothi, while its cinematography captures the enchanting natural beauty of Kerala. Adding to the visual grandeur are colourful sequences depicting the famous Nenmara–Vallangi Vela festival of Palakkad, spectacular fireworks, exciting original fight scenes, and impressive dance performances by Maldivian-born artiste Razia. The film is further enhanced by remarkable editing that brings together all these elements into a compelling cinematic presentation.
With the intention of sharing this special film first with their friends in Mumbai and seeking their blessings, the organisers have arranged a preview show for the local audience.
The preview screening will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at Madhuban Theatre, near Dombivli Railway Station (East). The show will begin exactly at 9.00 am, and viewers are requested to arrive early to secure comfortable seating. Since seats are limited, latecomers may face difficulty in getting a seat.
