The Andheri Malayali Samajam, Mumbai, is organising a one-day short drama festival at the Indian Institute of Culture Hall, Mahakali Caves Road, Andheri East, on Sunday, February 22, at 6 pm. Entry to the programme will be free.
As part of the festival, three different one-act plays will be presented on the same day. In addition to the play “Otta Njavalmaram” by the Malayala Basha Pracharana Sangham, two award-winning solo plays that secured first place at drama festivals in two different groups will also be staged. The plays to be presented are “Balalmazhayum” and “Basheerinte Monchathiyum”
The festival promises an engaging evening for theatre lovers and Malayalam drama enthusiasts in Mumbai.
