Umargaon Kerala Association has elected its new governing body at the association’s annual general meeting held recently. The meeting was presided over by Animon Nair. Mohandas Nair presented the activity report, while P. J. Sebastian presented the income and expenditure statement. Joseph Veliyath, Jacob V. John, Sajeev C. Nair and Valsamma Mathew also spoke on the occasion.
The newly elected office-bearers are: Dr. R. K. Nair (President), Piyoos Alappat and Sreeja Narayanan (Vice Presidents), Sajeev C. Nair (Secretary), Jayaraj and Padmini Pillai (Joint Secretaries), Biju Mathew (Treasurer), Deepa S. Nair (Joint Treasurer), M. G. Rajeev (Sports Secretary), Vidya Babu Nair (Arts Secretary) and Sanoj Sunny (Public Relations).
The members of the Advisory Committee are Joseph Veliyath, Hari Menon, Animon Nair, Anirudhan, Mohandas Nair, P. J. Sebastian, Valsa Antony, Rajani Menon and Valsamma Mathew.
The Executive Committee members include Anto Veliyath, T.S. Prathapan, Rijo Unni, Ajith Kumar Karthikeyan, Shaijith, T. M. Ramadas, Sudhakaran, Sathyan T. Nair, Suchit K. Nair, Jayakumar N.
