Seawoods Malayali Samajam, Navi Mumbai celebrated its 24th anniversary with a colourful function at Agri Koli Sanskriti Bhavan, Sector 24, Nerul. The programme was inaugurated by poet P. B. Hrishikesan, who spoke on the relevance of poetry in contemporary times.
Senior citizens of the society were honoured on the occasion. Secretary Rajeev Nair, B. S. Neetu and Anjali Pillai addressed the gathering. The event was presided over by President Sasidharan Nair. Conveners Usha Srikanth and Sajeevan Nair, along with Treasurer Ajitha Kumaran, led the proceedings.
The celebrations concluded with a comedy show and a lively musical evening, drawing good participation from members and well-wishers.
