Mumbai, February 6, 2026: Dr. Sureshkumar Madhusudhanan, Chairman and Managing Director of Seagull International Group, has been nominated as a Member of the BRICS Business Council for Skills, Advanced Technology and Innovation under India’s Presidency. The Council aims to strengthen cooperation among BRICS nations in the areas of skills development, future workforce, emerging technologies and innovation-led economic growth.
The India Chapter of the BRICS STIWG is chaired by Mr. Bijay Sahoo of Reliance Industries Limited, with Prof. Akshay Divedi of IIT Roorkee serving as Co-Chair, and includes several distinguished leaders from industry and academia. Expressing his gratitude, Dr. Madhusudhanan said it is an honour to be part of this important platform contributing to international collaboration in skills, workforce mobility and emerging technologies.
