The Thane Nair Welfare Association successfully organized its Nair Mahasangamam and Annual General Meeting recently, witnessing enthusiastic participation from members and families.
Well-known social activist Sachin Menon graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, he highlighted the importance of community unity, cultural values, and social responsibility among the younger generation.
Senior members Kumaran Nair, Mani Nair, Kannan Nair, Bharat Pillai, Ajith Kumar Pillai, Damodaran Pillai, Eknath Boyer, and Manik Patil addressed the audience, sharing their thoughts on community welfare activities and future initiatives.
Association President Ms.Mani Nair presented the prestigious Mannam Award to Shashi Nair in recognition of his contributions and dedicated service. Students who excelled in academics were also felicitated during the function.
The event featured vibrant cultural programmes by association members, adding colour and festive spirit to the gathering. A special mega show presented by Thiruvananthapuram Vismaya was a major highlight, receiving warm appreciation from the audience.
The Mahasangamam concluded on a joyous note, reaffirming the association’s commitment to preserving cultural heritage while strengthening community bonds among Malayalis in Mumbai.
