The Muthappan Madappurakkal Thiruvappana Mahotsavam will be held at CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai on January 24 and 25, marking a vibrant celebration of faith and tradition. The festivities will commence on January 24 at 1.00 pm with the sacred descent of the Lord from the mountain. The Muthappan Vellattam Purappadu is scheduled at 4.00 pm, followed by darshan for devotees and Annadhanam at 7.30 pm.
On January 25 morning, after the Thirumudi falls, the Thiruvappana Vellattakolams will arrive at the arena to bless the devotees. The Pallivetta ritual will be held at 12 noon, followed by lunch. The celebrations will conclude in the evening with the traditional Malaketal ceremony, marking the formal inauguration of the festival.
