The Nair Welfare Society (NWS), Mulund celebrated its Annual Kudumba Sanghamam on a grand note on Sunday, 18th January 2026, at Apna Bazar Hall, Mulund West, Mumbai. The event commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, followed by vibrant cultural performances by Samajam members and the felicitation of senior members for their continued contributions.
Addressing the gathering, President Shri Balachandran Menon highlighted the society’s ongoing and future initiatives, including plans to develop a dedicated community hall to promote cultural and social activities. The cultural segment was the highlight of the day, featuring an elegant blend of Kathak, Bharatanatyam, and Mohiniyattam presented by renowned dancer Smt. Shila Mehta along with her disciples. The celebrations concluded with a sumptuous traditional lunch, fostering camaraderie and togetherness among members.
