Renowned percussion maestro Guru Kesavan Perumal Ramamoorthy, based in New Delhi, will shortly embark on a concert tour of the United States of America along with acclaimed flautist Bharat Raj Subrahmayam and distinguished violinist Smt. Lakshmi Venkataraman. The musical trio will present “Shivoham”, a unique and spiritually uplifting programme inspired by the Pancha Bhootas — the five essential elements of nature that form the foundation of life and human well-being.
A versatile and highly respected artiste, Guru Kesavan Perumal Ramamoorthy is known for his mastery over the mridangam, ghatam and tavil, blending tradition with creative expression. Shivoham seamlessly weaves rhythm and melody to portray earth, water, fire, air and space, offering audiences an immersive experience that transcends conventional concert formats.
Following the stupendous success of their previous tour last year, the trio returns with renewed energy and artistic depth, promising to enthral rasikas with soulful renditions, intricate rhythmic patterns and evocative melodic passages.
The concert series is expected to draw music lovers across the United States, celebrating the richness of Indian classical music while spreading a universal message of harmony with nature.
