As part of the Onam celebrations organized by the Sakinaka Malayali Samajam – Progressive Arts Club, prizes were distributed to the winners of various Onam festival competitions, along with the distribution of NORKA Medicare Insurance Cards sponsored by Care for Mumbai.
The programme was held in a dignified manner in the presence of office bearers and representatives of various organizations. The meeting was chaired by President K. Pavithran. Care for Mumbai Secretary Priya Varghese addressed the gathering and officially handed over the NORKA Medicare Insurance Cards to the beneficiaries.
Babu P. Nair, Chairman of the Onam Celebration Committee, N. Balakrishnan, Convener, and representatives of several community organizations attended the function and extended their support. Secretary Kannan Thankappan and Treasurer P. P. Pradeep were also present on the occasion.
The event reflected the strong spirit of unity and social commitment within the Malayali community in Mumbai, combining festive celebrations with meaningful welfare initiatives.
