The prestigious Mannam Award for this year, instituted by the Nair Welfare Association, will be conferred on Shashi Nair, Founder President of Vidyadhiraja School and Junior College.
The award has been announced in recognition of Shashi Nair’s dedicated contributions to the field of education and his consistent efforts to propagate the ideals and teachings of Chattambi Swami through academic and social initiatives.
The Mannam Award will be formally presented during the Thane Nair Sangamam, scheduled to be held on February 1.
Earlier, the Mannam Jayanti celebrations at Nair Bhavan were conducted under the leadership of Mani Nair, Kannan Nair, Harikumar Nair, and Suseendran Nair, marking the occasion with due reverence and community participation.
