Music Triangle Announces January 2026 Programmes, Marking 52 Years of Service to Fine Arts

Music Triangle, one of Mumbai’s well-known cultural institutions dedicated to music, dance and drama, is celebrating its 52nd year of service to the fine arts. As part of the celebrations, the organisation has announced its programmes for January 2026, extending New Year greetings to rasikas and well-wishers.

The January series will commence on Sunday, 11 January 2026, with Sadguru Sri Thyagaraja Aradhana, to be held at Kalina Bhakta Samaj Hall, Kalina, Mumbai, starting at 4.00 pm. The devotional offering in honour of Saint Thyagaraja will be followed by Mahaprasadam, continuing the traditional spirit of the Aradhana.

The next major event is a Grand Vocal Recital on Saturday, 17 January 2026, at 6.00 pm, at Laxmi Sabhagriha, Vile Parle East, Mumbai. The concert will feature the celebrated Carnatic duo, the Trichur Brothers — Sri Srikrishna Mohan and Sri Ramkumar Mohan. They will be accompanied by Sri Ajithkumar Idappally on violin, Sri R. Mohan Trichur on mridangam, and Sri D. V. Venkatasubramaniam on ghatam, promising an evening of classical excellence.

Music Triangle has also announced that its Annual Music Competition will be held on Sunday, 1 February 2026, from 9.30 am. Further details regarding the competition will be announced shortly.

All programmes are open to the public, with free entry. The organisers have also appealed to music lovers to support the institution through donations and memberships, enabling it to continue its long-standing contribution to the cultural life of Mumbai. For more details contact on
