

Thane Vrindavan Kairali Cultural Association, in collaboration with Sreedhareeyam – Ayurveda Netra Chikitsalayam successfully organised a free eye check-up camp at the association office, Building No. 30B, Vrindavan Society, Thane, on Sunday, December 14, from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.
The camp witnessed encouraging participation, with around 100 residents from Vrindavan Society and nearby areas availing themselves of the free eye care services. Qualified professionals from Sreedhareeyam conducted comprehensive eye examinations, including refraction tests using auto-refractometer, general eye condition evaluation, squint examination, dry eye test, colour vision assessment and ophthalmoscope examination.
The initiative was coordinated under the leadership of the association office bearers Sudhakaran and Rameshan, with active support from Ramachandran, Mohan Menon, Prasad and Ravikumar. Committee members Balakrishnan, Unnikrishnan, Narayanan Kutty Nambiar, Jinachandran, Ajithkumar Bharathan Menon, Prabhakaran, Mohandas and Damodaran also played a key role in ensuring the smooth conduct of the camp.
Residents expressed appreciation for the timely and meaningful health initiative, which reflects the association’s continued commitment to community welfare and preventive healthcare.
