Independent candidate Mr. Sashikumar Nair, who is contesting the forthcoming Thane Municipal Corporation elections, has been allotted the CCTV camera as his election symbol.

In a brief interaction with voters, Mr. Nair said the CCTV camera represents security, vigilance, transparency, and accountability. Emphasising citizen safety, he noted that the symbol reflects a society where women, children, and senior citizens can live without fear. He also underlined that true governance must be transparent, with no room for corruption or hidden agendas, and where elected representatives remain answerable to the people at all times.

Calling upon voters to support clean and honest leadership, Mr. Sashikumar Nair appealed for public cooperation to build a safer and more accountable Thane.
