The senior students from Navarasa Dance Academy of Guru Sushama Gopinath presented Shiva Shakti Ballet as part of its 38th Annual Day celebrations, titled “Samarpanam.” The production was a divine confluence of Mohiniyattam and Bharatanatyam, artistically journeying through the Navarasas and vividly portraying the many facets of Lord Shiva and the eternal harmony of Shiva–Shakti.
The ballet was beautifully elevated by an accomplished orchestra, with Vishnu’s evocative vocal renditions guiding the narrative, supported by Anand on violin, Dakshinamurthy on mridangam, and Narayanan on flute, whose collective artistry enriched the spiritual depth of the performance.
The organisers expressed special appreciation to Kavya and Sneha for their dedicated support throughout rehearsals.
