Members of the Borivli Malayali Samajam were blessed with a spiritually uplifting evening in the presence of the revered Kalamandalam Anantanarayanan, marking a heartfelt celebration of the Guru–Śiṣya Parampara.
Former students of Guruji, many now accomplished parents and teachers, fondly recalled their years of rigorous training during the 1980s and 1990s, highlighting his discipline, dedication and personal mentorship. Despite health challenges, Guruji moved the gathering by demonstrating dance movements and expressions, reaffirming his lifelong devotion to the art.
The intimate interaction served as a reminder of the enduring bond between Guru and disciple, inspiring all present and reinforcing the timeless values of classical tradition.
