The two-day children’s camp ‘Kaliyum Chiriyum’, organised annually by Kharghar Kerala Samajam, Navi Mumbai was held at Harmony International School, Sector 36, Kharghar. The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation and proved to be an enriching experience for the young minds.
The camp was led by O. P. Chandran from Kerala, who has received expert training in the field of child development and activity-based learning. Designed as a refreshing break from mobile phones and social media, the programme introduced children to unique folk games and thoughtfully curated activities.
Through games and exercises based on careful observation, the children were able to sharpen their skills, enhance their ideas and express their creativity. A total of 41 children from Kharghar Kerala Samajam took part in the camp, making it a lively and memorable event.
The initiative was widely appreciated by parents and well-wishers, who lauded the Samajam’s efforts to provide meaningful, value-based and joyful learning experiences for children.
