The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has announced a 24-hour water shutdown in several parts of Mumbai from 9:00 AM on Friday, December 12, to 9:00 AM on Saturday, December 13.
The shutdown is necessary to facilitate the connection of major water pipelines as part of ongoing infrastructure work.
The affected civic wards include K East, H East, and G North, covering key areas such as BKC, Dharavi, Marol, Chakala, SEEPZ, J.B. Nagar, the airport area, Vile Parle (East), and Kurla (East).
Residents in these localities are advised to store sufficient water and plan accordingly during the shutdown period.
