A new Therapy Unit aimed at supporting children with special needs will be inaugurated on 9 December 2025 at 11:00 AM at Love Shore Special School, Meppadi, Wayanad.
The facility has been set up by the Different Art Centre (DAC) as part of its ongoing mission to enhance the lives of differently-abled children through specialised therapeutic and developmental support. The initiative has been made possible with the generous support of AMMA – All Malaysia Malayalee Association.
Equipped with modern therapy tools and a child-friendly sensory environment, the new unit will help improve cognitive, emotional, and motor skills among the students, providing them with a nurturing space for holistic growth.
This project marks another significant step toward strengthening special education and inclusive care in Wayanad.
