Malayala Bhasha Pracharana Sangham is organising literary competitions on an all-Maharashtra basis. The details of the competition are as follows :

Short Story : The subject can be any, not to exceed 15 pages

Poetry : The subject can be any, not to exceed 60 lines

Essay : Not to exceed 20 pages. Subject –

Democratic India – Anxiety and Hope”

The works sent for the competition must be original. Works previously published in print media or social media will not be accepted for the competition. It must be written or typed on one side only, not exceeding twenty-five lines on A 4 page. The author’s name, address, phone number and email address should be written on a separate page and sent with the work. No name, address, phone number, email address or signature should be written in any part of the work.

The works sent for the competition will not be returned. Malayala Bhasha Pracharana Sangham reserves the right to publish the winning works in their mouthpiece of ‘Keralam Valarunnu’.

The first and second winners in each literary category will be selected by prominent writers. Prize money and a trophy will be awarded at the closing ceremony of the 14th Malayalam Festival.

The works for the competition should be sent by email to bhasholsavammumbai@gmail.com before November 6, 2025. Only typed pdf copies will be accepted. If it is a manuscript, it should be scanned clearly and sent. If a photo of the works is sent, it will not be considered.
