A special call centre will be set up to help expatriates for the SIR (Secular Voter Roll) exercise in Thiruvananthapuram. An email facility will also be available for adding those
who have left out to be added.
If you are unable to submit the enumeration form and are not included in the draft list, you can apply to be included by submitting Form 6 after December 9. Non-residents who were not included in the list can also submit Form 6-A at this stage. Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Ratan U. Kelkar said He was responding to concerns raised at a meeting with political party representatives.
Kelkar said that discussions are underway with the diaspora organizations with the help of Norka. Diasporas can fill out the form through their relatives back
home. They can also apply online. Enumeration forms were distributed to 46,96,493 people (16.86 percent) till 6 pm on Saturday. About half of them were filled and returned. Collectors have been instructed to collect and submit the entire form by the 25th.
