Swaralaya Sangeet Vidyalaya Foundation to Present ‘Anubhuti’ – An Evening of Rhythm, Dance and Devotion

Leading cultural organisation of the western suburbs, Swaralaya Sangeet Vidyalaya Foundation, Kandivali, will present its much-awaited annual production, “Anubhuti”, a captivating celebration of rhythm, music, dance and devotion, on Saturday, July 4, at Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar Natyagruha, Mira Road.

The institution is led by renowned mridangam maestro Guru Satish Krishnamurthy and accomplished Bharatanatyam exponent Guru Nisha Satish, both of whom have dedicated themselves to nurturing young talent in Indian classical arts.

The programme is divided into two distinct segments, showcasing the richness of Indian classical music and dance.

The evening will commence with “Rudra”, a vibrant percussion ensemble featuring an exciting blend of rhythmic instruments, violin and vocal music, creating a harmonious musical experience that celebrates rhythm and melody.

The second half of the programme will feature graceful Bharatanatyam performances by young children, teenagers and youth, all disciples of Guru Nisha Satish. The audience will also have the opportunity to witness a series of captivating solo performances by Guru Nisha herself, presenting selected pieces from the classical Bharatanatyam repertoire.
