Kerala Samajam, Vasai (East), marked its Silver Jubilee with great enthusiasm and cultural vibrancy at the St. Thomas Church Hall, Evershine Nagar, Vasai (East), last Sunday. The grand celebration witnessed an impressive gathering of members and well-wishers from the Malayali community.

The evening featured a rich cultural programme showcasing traditional and artistic excellence. Classical dance performances including Bharatanatyam and Mohiniyattam by the disciples of Guru Rajitha Nair of Kerala Kala Kshetram were among the highlights. Traditional art forms such as Oppana and Kaikottikali added colour and festive spirit to the occasion, while a Malayalam drama captivated the audience with its strong message on family values and unity during times of adversity.

The Chief Guest, noted orator and artist Kishore, delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing the importance of family bonds and human values in today’s fast-paced life. His words resonated deeply with the audience and added meaningful depth to the celebrations.
