Mumbai, June 28: Indian Deaf Cricketer and Deaf IPL T20 player Sudish Nair was honoured by the organisers at the International Content Creator Award (ICCA) & Dadasaheb Phalke Indian Television Award 2026, held on Sunday at the Oyster Banquet Hall, Hotel Sahara Star, Vile Parle (East), Mumbai.

The prestigious event was organised by D-PITA Charitable Trust in association with Filmora Media Network under the leadership of Akhilesh Singh, Founder and Chairman of D-PITA.

Sudish Nair, who attended the function as the Special Guest, was felicitated by the organisers in recognition of his remarkable achievements in deaf cricket and his inspiring journey as a Deaf IPL T20 player. His dedication, perseverance and sporting excellence have made him a role model for aspiring athletes across the country.

The ceremony was attended by actress Ulka Gupta, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, along with several distinguished personalities from the entertainment, media, sports and social sectors.

The International Content Creator Award (ICCA) and Dadasaheb Phalke Indian Television Award recognise excellence in television, digital content creation and media while celebrating individuals who have made significant contributions in their respective fields. Sudish Nair’s felicitation added a special sporting dimension to the event and was one of the highlights of the evening.
