The novel Deshadakante Chirakukal (Wings of an Immigrant), authored by Mumbai-based writer Ravi Thodupuzha and published by Pagoda Book Art, will be officially released on June 21, 2026, at 11.30 a.m. during the Thunchan Literary Festival organized by Keraleeya Samajam (Regd.), Dombivli at Model College, Kambalpada, Thakurli (East), Mumbai.
The book will be released by renowned novelist and translator T.D. Ramakrishnan, recipient of the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award and the Vayalar Award. The first copy will be received by E.P. Vasu, President of Keraleeya Samajam, Dombivli.
Deshadakante Chirakukal is a poignant novel that captures the experiences, struggles, aspirations, and emotional journey of an expatriate over thirty-six years.
