Vayalar Samskarika Vedi Kerala, on the occasion of the 50th death anniversary of the popular lyricist Vayalar Rama Varma conducted “Vayalar Smruthi Sandhya” an evening of musical tribute to the legend by young singers of Raagalaya and Saptaswara on 26th October 2025 at Nahar International school auditorium, Chandivili, Mumbai. Former chief secretary of Kerala and popular lyricist Jayakumar IAS inaugurated the event and delivered his keynote speech on Vayalar and his songs. The programme on behalf of Samskarika Vedi was co-ordinated by Harikumar Menon of KNSS. The inaugural event was followed by a musical programme comprising the ever green songs of Vayalar Rama Varma by the young talented singers of Mumbai.
