Poet, lyricist, music director, producer and film director Sreekumaran Thampi has been chosen to receive MACTA Legend Honour Award this year. This award is given every third year for those persons who achieve high caliber in movie related activities. A purse of Rs 1 lakh, trophy and citation constitute this award.
Film director Siby Malayil, script writer S N Swamy and music director Vidyadharan constituted the jury.
