The results of SSC examination conducted by the Maharashtra Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board are out with 95.81% success. Pune, Nagpur, Chhatrapati Sambaji Nagar, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amaravati, Nasik, Latur and Konkan divisions come under the Board. In the recently held examinations, 15,60,154 students appeared and 14,84,431 students registered success. When female students scored 97.21% success, male students could score only 94.56%,. While Konkan Division scored 99.01 % success, Mumbai division could score only 95.83%. Kolhapur came with 97.45% success. Nagpur with the lowest percent could obtain only 94.73%. 5,58, 021 students achieved distinction.
Among the schools which scored 100% success are Marol Education Academy’s High School and Junior College, Marol, Andheri, Cosmos English High School of Bhandup Keraleeya Samajam, Sri Narayana Guru High School, Chembur, of SNMS, Vidyaniketan English School of Malanad Educational and Welfare Association of Vartak Nagar, Thane and Model English School run by Dombivli Keraleeya Samajam.
