The Vasai-based socio-cultural organization Pratiksha Foundation is set to celebrate its silver jubilee starting September 29, marking the beginning of a year-long celebration. The event will be inaugurated by Maharashtra Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan at the Vasai Ayyappa Temple premises. Malayalam actor Shankar will be a special guest, and many prominent personalities are expected to attend.
The celebrations will feature cultural entertainment and the Pratiksha Foundation Awards, honoring individuals who have excelled in various fields. According to the Foundation’s Chairman, Uttamkumar, an Onam feast will also be part of the festivities. Last year, Onam celebrations for transgenders were held at the Kausthubham Auditorium of Thiruvambadi Temple in Thrissur.
