Since its establishment in 1996, Hill Garden Ayyappa Bhakta Sangam (HGABS), Thane, has been actively engaged in various charitable initiatives, particularly in education, healthcare, and elderly care. Continuing its commitment to social welfare, HGABS recently distributed books and study materials to the students of St Joseph English School, Kapurbavdi, Thane, free of cost, for the second consecutive year. During the distribution, parents of three students approached HGABS, requesting assistance with their children's school fees. After assessing the families' backgrounds and living conditions, and consulting with teachers, HGABS decided to extend support. Today, HGABS Trust office bearers, K G Kutty and Sashikumar Nair, presented a donation cheque of Rs 39,015 to the school authorities. This contribution covers the annual school fees for three deserving girl students—one from the Primary section and two from the Secondary section. Sashikumar Nair, Secretary of HGABS, expressed immense satisfaction at being able to assist these deserving families. The initiative underscores HGABS's dedication to empowering young minds and fostering educational opportunities within the community. Hill Garden Ayyappa Bhakta Sangam's philanthropic gesture ensures that education remains accessible to all, reflecting a commitment to social responsibility and community welfare.
