In the recent motor accident case in Pune, in which two young engineers were killed by hitting their bike by a ‘high end’ motor car by an adolescent driver, two doctors were arrested for giving false certificate in defence of the boy. Dr Ajay Tawde and Dr Hari Harnor of Sasoon Hospital, are the doctors who issued false certificate in defence of the boy. They certified that the blood test conducted by them came negative. The telephone conversation between the boy’s father and Dr Tawde had come out. However, in the CCTV recordings, the boy was found consuming liquor inside the bar.

There were reports that the car was gifted to the boy by his grandfather on his 17th birthday.
