'Care for Mumbai', a volunteer organization in Mumbai, has stepped forward to assist homeless victims of the Wayanad disaster by building homes for them in association with the government of Kerala. As soon as news of the disaster broke, the organization communicated their decision to assist the victims to the government, said its President, M K Nawas.
Initially, they will build five homes, but later they plan to extend their support by providing necessary materials, stated Secretary Priya Varghese.
