Ananya made her debut at the Studio Theatre, Jio World, BKC, Bandra East, on May 1st, showcasing her talent and dedication to Bharatanatyam. However, Ananya's journey to the stage was not without hurdles.
Before sharing the pictures of her performance, it's worth mentioning that Ananya's remarkable display was driven by sheer willpower and dedication to her art, despite facing health challenges. She battled a high temperature, cough, runny nose, and severe acidity problems since the eve of her Arangetram, which worsened on the day of the performance.
Ananya's parent's, teacher popular dance artist Nisha Gilbert, musicians and the entire NSD team, were under immense stress, unable to express their concerns. Ananya's determination taught everyone a lesson in hope. Despite the odds, she refused to give up until the Mangalam concluded, performing her Margam for two hours.
Ananya's mother, Usha Sreeni, and father, Sreenivasan, can be immensely proud of their daughter's resilience and passion for Bharatanatyam. Smt. Prema , Ananya's grandmother and the source of her inspiration, can also take pride in her granddaughter's accomplishments.
