All India Malayali Association (AIMA) Maharashtra organised a Fund-Raising event on April 7 at the premises of Mehta College, Airoli. ‘Mimics Ultra Kozhikode’ presented a variety of cultural items including folk songs and mimicry which the audience enjoyed thoroughly.

President T A Khalid presided over the event. Secretary K T Nair welcomed the audience. K R Manoj, Chair Person of AIMA NRCC delivered the keynote address. The organisation is doing praiseworthy services to the community, he said. Considering the strength of the membership, Maharashtra state comes third at national level, he added. Treasurer G Komalan, Dr P J Aprain, Upendra Menon, Adv. Prema Menon, Adv Padma Divakar, Prashant Vellavil, Suma Mukundan, A.N. Shaji, Sasikumar Nair and Sakaria M Sakaria honoured the sponsors and distinguished guests by presenting them bouquets, silk shawls and mementos.

Rakhi Sunil was the Master of Ceremonies. Chair Person Upendra Menon proposed a Vote of Thanks.
